1500 Miles in 2 weeks and the seat is very comfortable. I like it better then the pillow seat my 99 had. I never liked Corbin seats. I like a soft seat and a soft mattress. This one is harder then the old stock pillow seat, but softer then any of the Corbins I've tried.
The driver backrest has a funky lip at the top that gets anoying after a couple of hours. I have a bad back so I have to have a backrest if I'm going more then 20 minutes. I'll probably get a taller backrest if this one doesn't break in to be more comfortable. I have adjusted angle and height to no avail, but I haven't tried moving the whole mount forward or back yet. Have to think on that.
Finally, I thought the electric heater didn't work. Turned it on... Nothing. Same with the passenger. Didn't really care cause I have no plans to use it, but for 35 grand I'm playing with all the switches.

At any rate, turns out you have to turn the accessory switch on the fairing cap on before the seat gets power.

What's the point in that? The dealer offered to rewire it, but as I said, no plans to use it so I don't really care, now that I know it works.
Best Regards,
JC
P.S. The granite is smokin' and it doesn't show the road grime nearly as bad as the black. The finish is smoother and easier to clean too!
