I just installed security sytem on street gliide it starts then dies out any answers

Did you perform the password learn procedure?  If not, that will give you a start then stall and will set a Diagnostic Trouble Code of P1009.  If the instructions that came with the system don't have the procedure, you'll need to refer to the shop manual.
