I had the SAC Eagle grip on my 2000 FLHTC. I loved them. They were VERY comfortable and my hand never tired after hours of riding. They did fade eventually but I rode in all kinds of weather. I liked them so much I used permanent markers to touch up the color when they did start to fade so I wound up getting about 4 years out of them. Bought them at Sturgis. Add another vote for the Eagle grips!

That's a confirmation of what I was only guessing based on fondling them here around the house.  They really do give the impression that your hands would just love them.  That really does mean a lot.  Thank you very much!

I'd love that on mine.  I think there are extra parts out in the garage, I will have to dig around.

MrsWe I hadn't already made up my mind at the beginning.  The conversation here certainly did help move me toward a decision though.  Guess that's what I was hoping for .

You've probably already made you mind up, but for me ..... I bet my hand is smaller than yours, so size matters to me .... I'd stay with the proven grips, they seem like they'd more comfortable if you were truly holding onto your grips.  For me, when we are putting mile after mile down, hardly hold onto the grips, just the tippy ends of them, so the smaller the diameter the better, again this is for me.  Since I work on a computer all day - I think you do too - I am very conscious of anything that might cause any kind of spread of my hands and may cause even a hint of carpal tunnel.  I know, I worry too much about the little things.  The eagle grips look cooler though.
