Showed these to a couple of people and they jokingly said I would have to watch that they don't throw my tire weights off - they are that substantial.  Since I see no point in putting them on my rear tire I offered one for my husband.  He raised his eyebrows, and opened his eyes real wide, and declined my offer.

Not sure why?

If Liberace rode a Harley, he would have LOVED these. 

Your hubby is most likely concerned about, shall we say, the "Elton John" factor.    ;D

They would look nice on a "show Only" bike ! I had a set of metz 880's installed on saturday and they did not require any wheel weights the installer remaked that it was real rare for that to happen for a set of tires to be that true. After riding them for a 500 miles they are really an improvement of the out of round  dunflops OEM tires. I had burned the rear tire tread off at 7000 mile and kept the tire pressure at a constant 40 psi.

The Valve Covers that you have shown would be just great for a girls bike  :D

Well, when I got my bike back I was kinda looking around it, assessing if everything was as it should be - it's been almost three months since I'd seen it, and I looked for my flashy little valve stem cover.  It was there, no problem, but while wandering around an Auto Zone around the corner yesterday, I saw you can buy these covers for like $5.00 for four.  I guess I got totally ripped off.
