It's a Honda CBR-1000RR ... about 400 lbs with some gas in it.

I wonder if it had an empty hoister strapped on it, would it have been stolen then?? Humm..... You lock 'em the best you can and make it hard to be stolen, hopefully, they'll go after easier hits. But, if someone really wants it, they will get it. Insurance is a good thing.

I've heard of bikes being stolen in straight trucks with roof mounted hoists -- they raise it inside and it's gone.  Probably on it's way to another country.  Like Ugly John said, insurance is a good thing!
