Thanks for the info FR8TRN.  I think I'll go ahead and buy the SERT now.  From what I'm seeing, it sounds like you were smart to get a new Ultra and do the 103" upgrade.   :2vrolijk_21:  -Steve

Thanks, I'm happy with it and more importantly the wife is happy again.  She's ridden with me more since I got this than she did the entire time I had the SE.

Harry, not only does the bike look good, but it brings back memories of the best dresser I ever had.  It was a 2000 Ultra with the big bore kit and all the rest-(stock cams & heads).  It was my favorite Harley color -black.  It ran like a top.  But I got the CVO disease.  Honest to God, if I could have the money I've wasted on CVO disease back, and have my 2000 Ultra back, I believe I'd do it.
Good luck to you and your motorcycle adventures.  -Retail&

Steve, you are so right! My favorite bike is a 2005 dresser with a screaming eagle build. Bike is bulletproof, comfortable, sounds great and I've ridden it in over 20 states so far. Its like an old friend and I would get rid of my CVO before I would Old Blue.

With a laptop , the cable , manual , reasonable intellegence and patience you should be able to get an acceptable map in time. Once you get the full mods in place you can have it tweeked by a good tuner on a dyno .

I'd agree it's better to get some miles on her before trying a serious tune, so you can get a good top end tune with out fear of damage.

I put on 1000 before I had my 103 kit put on , although I had it included in purchase so warranty would cover. My wrench , who built my 104hp 95" WG3 did the SERT tune on it and I'm pleased , 95hp 110lbs ft , and with the new IDS drive on her she's running smooth as silk.

Can anyone help me out with my SERT? I just put on my V&H BSS the bike only has 600 miles.. I do have #32107-01H and i see a calibration that looks close for me #74  07-08 shotgun/ shorty daul style exhaust. I just want something till the 1,000 miles service then i will have it dyno tuned.  Thanks!
