Radio Noise

I was just wondering if anyone out there has had any problems with a popping sound coming from the speakers while running???  I have the old radio with cassette, and 12 disc changer.  The stereo works perfect when the engine is off.  Clear as a bell. 

Next question.  To all of the folks out there that has changed th the sony stereo.  Do you like it?  Pro's and cons.  I'm considering going to hawg wired and going the sony route.  Thanks.  Cash  :pumpkin:

 Same issue, radiosound benched tested radio for 8 hour($240.00) no problems found?   :worthless:

Sidecar,   I started looking around many of the posts, and from them decided to check my grounds.  Found that my ground, though tight was not really tight.  After tightining it up the popping seemed to stop.  It came back again, so I checked it again and sure enough, my ground to the battery was loosening up.  Lock washer and retighten up and all better.  I'm hoping the issue stays away.  maybe this could be your problem as well. It won't show up on a bench test and would in the bike.   Scot
