I wanna know how that ABS is!!!

IMHO this is the most important improvement that Harley has ever made to there motorcycles.  I love the electronic throttle, six gallon tank, six speed trans, and the big 110 c.i. engine.  But, the ABS is "Da Bomb."  No more lock ups on panic stops.  It is worth the $800 options if you're not buying the CVO bikes. LOL.    :2vrolijk_21:

I have all most 3k miles on my '08 so far rear oil leak, heated hand grips stopped work and being so new after two trips to the dealer to get these things fixed, nothing has been fixed. Will try a third time with the right parts this time i hope. Seat to me fits me and mine well, paint is good, no pealing, Lots of heat like other people have stated, changing all that soon. The ABS brakes are awesome ! stop me on a dime, just remember they don't work on curves...only when the bike is upright. Your on your own in a curve. Still all and all it's the best bike I have ever owned, this in #4.

I have the 08 SEUC White that I bought in Oct 07 and I just turned 6000 miles. Installed SERT and Reinhart Slip-Ons and had it re- tuned and it runs like a raped ape!! I still have some heat on the right side but it is much better than it was stock and breaking in. ABS Brakes work as avertised and do stop you in a heartbeat. Have no oil leaks and all accessories work well. One thing I was told by my mechanic was that when I use the heated grips and seat MAKE SURE I TURN THEM OFF BEFORE STARTING BIKE. IT is a tremendous load on the system and can burn out the grips and seat plus battery. Yes we do have 40 degree mornings here in Tucson. It is a nice luxury!! This bike is a dream runner as long as I can keep her in one piece and running per specs. :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

My #308 is super fine.  I changed the mufflers out to the old SE 65115-98B with additional smaller dia baffle welded inside of the original 2" and created a nice acceptable sound while maintaining close to stock back pressure. Runs beautifully and does not overheat so far.  No leaking problems.  Gets about 40 MPH with two up in and out of town. No heat problems. Great getting back to a good size tour-pak that will actually hold some stuff.  Love the seat as it is more comfortable than my 06 or 07 SE Ultras.  Paint quality is the best of all three and boy do I pleasantly miss that ugly wrinkled leather box on the 07. So far the 08 is the best all around yet. Zero complaints.  I hope that the cylinder leaks were perhaps addressed at the factory prior to my production.  We will see.

Glad to hear the ABS Brakes are da BOMB!!!  I had trouble getting my '07 SEUC stopped several times...locked up the rear and front brakes...one time not only left skid marks on the road, but in my under wear also!!!!
