Did you try and lower the bars by loosening the triple tree. When I got mine the owner had the bars too low and I rotated them up so it was more comfortable for me.

i run a 15" on my 01fltri from maier windshields(tinted)and luv it.tried cee baileys but the 1 they sent kept pullin wel nuts out,returned it.also didnt like how thick it was.hope this helps
