07 Serk 6 speed.

Always wondered if the tranny on the 07 SE's are the SE type  or are they the same one as on the standard HD models? SE do not have the 6 speed script on the end cover as is the case with other models.

This was just gone over. It's the standard cruise drive trans as in regular models, not the SE trans. ;)

Yes, I read the topic referred to, but I did not see a direct reference to SE bikes not having the SE trans. Sorry if my question seemed superfluous.  ;)

The side cover on the SE models is different due to the hydrolic clutch.

Now I've got to go humbly back to the dealer and tell him to forget about looking for the right six speed cover. :'(
