I just got an advertisement from Bayside H-D in Portsmouth Va and Kitty Hawk H-D in Harbinger NC.
They are owned by the same person and they have lowered their rates for rental of motorcycles. From Nov. 16th,2007 to March 15,2008 the rates are:
$100 a day , weekly it's $500 for 7 days, and they have a Police/Firefighter rate of $75 a day.
The advantage of their system is that they will allow you to swap bikes during your rental time so you can actually try out several types of bikes even on a daily rental.

Both have hours of Mon.-Sat. 9-6 and Sun. 10-4.
I thought this might be good info for anyone wanting to fly and ride in the Virginia or North Carolina area.
