But I am guessing you don't have that look of terror in your eyes as you carve up the canyon roads.....   ;)

I don't mind them either except for every so often when they these folks actually decide to try and ride their bikes instead of just looking at them and talking about them.  Then it's a bit scary.  Those are the folks I see at Sturgis that have brand new everything - they arrive in fancy new trucks, pulling new trailers, with new bikes, new leathers, dew rags that they don't quite know how to tie...  Then they point their bikes towards the road, duck walk to the edge of the road...and with a look of terror - launch themselves into the traffic, all the while hoping everyone else is skilled enough to avoid them.   ;)  I like it better if they just buy their bikes, dress like bikers, talk like bikers, but don't acually try consumate the act by riding the bike... :2vrolijk_21:

Yep, the wannabes can get on your nerves, but they are where good used garage-kept low mileage bikes come from  ;D

Y'know what Howie.  I don't mind them at all.  Not really.  They do us a real benefit by keeping the cost per unit down.  It's frightening to think what Harley would try to charge us to keep their profit up if they only sold bikes that people actually rode.

Some do ride but cant afford there own bike, they live for the factory demo truck to come to town.  ;D

Well just to keep everyone on here informed.

BHG did sell her V rod. Had a new boyfriend that didn't work out, still has her business and does some part time modeling.

THE "V" GIRL did get married to some SMUCK!!!!!

Right after we got married she left her job and moved to Maryland. Once in Maryland she was involved in a very ugly and expensive custody battle and was advised to become a stay at mom until the case was over. She did win. But it took it's toll on everybody.

Life is good but being Dad to two small beautiful boys is a handful, to say the least. I had no idea how much time they take up. So having a wife, six kids, 3 labs, a house (big one at that) 2 full time jobs and now heading a professional competition BBQ team. OH and I forgot, BEING DAD and MOM has used up a lot of our time.

We still lurk around here, Just not doing much posting. In a few years when the 4 year old gets a little older we will have more time. Then you all will be saying. I LIKED THEM BETTER WHEN THEY HAD TO STAY AT HOME!!!!!!!

We would like to extend our best wishes for a  MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and we will be seeing some of you soon.

BB thanks for starting this thread. Yes back in the day it was a lot of fun. I introduced her to the site but didn't realize she was going to start a riot! The funny thing is there were 3 prople on the site that knew we were an item and kept the secret.

Thanks again

Be SAfe

Wow Earniezap, you're pretty good at this.  What've I been up to lately?

He can't tell you..........you're the wrong sex. :huepfenlol2:

But in the case of Vgirl and BHG......he's spot on in both cases. :2vrolijk_21:

FYI.
The intent of this thread was to move beyond V, DC and BHG to other people, things, etc. I used them as a starting point for obvious reasons.

Brian, being Christmas, what ever happened to that "Sunday Sermon" thread we had going a while back? Today would be a good day for some inspirational words of wisdom.

And, I'd better get to bed so Santa can come!
