I watched this last night on TV it was amazing to see. This guy not only did the jump, but he did it twice. He beat the record, but didn't get the distance he wanted (360 FT). His maximum height during this jump was +/- 60 FT. To see it in slow motion and watch how he's using the brakes in the air to have the bike do different things is amazing.

They never said what the distance was on the second jump.  Must've fallen short of the first one. :nixweiss:

I used to race motocross... that's how I got into this.

Mechanics of motorcycle fight are pretty easy, when your in the air and you want to raise the front wheel pin the throttle, to drop the front end hit the rear brake.

This info is not very practical with a CVO.

It's amazing that he was able to get airborne at all with the incredible weight of those huge stones he must have to to want to jump that far in the first place!!!

You got that right, and then to want to do it again right away. :nervous: I did notice in the second jump he had a little crosswind that moved him to the left just a little. It was enough to have the crew standing by on the ramp to start running for cover. :shocked2:

In the YouTube video you can see the rear wheel locked up shortly before landing in order to get the front end down.
