No rumours flying about yet as far as the 2009's are concerned.  At least I haven't seen any.  I'm guessing we will get one this year though.

I'm like you, I wish HD would come out with another one. I see SERGs for sale and am so tempted, but then I recall the fun of the M&M FI, and change my mind. Sometimes I think of getting an '02 RG, doing the engine, adding a tourpack, CB, cruise and lowers. Maybe one day.

Mark, it is speculation based on absolutely nothing.  But I'd be greatly surprised to see a new SE SERG.  They don't sell enough regular SERGs and Willie G is quoted in a couple of press pieces in a way that seems less than enthusiastic about the idea.  Who knows though?  It is HG after all.  And a low selling foundation model didn't stop them from making the SE Springers.

Having said that I know you had your significant issued with the Marelli system.  I had a couple of Marelli bikes back when they were contemporary and (fortunately) never had major issues.  They had their own character.  But they could be made to run ok.

Comfortable enough with them I didn't let the M&M scare me from this red SERG I just brought home.  Fortunately Harley is still supplying parts.  As long as that continues they can be made to run ok.  If/when Harley starts discontinuing primary components it'll just be time to start self-stocking a few spares.

Wishful thinking if you ask me.  I reckon Harley have run out of ideas unless they are going to introduce the "5" series
