Mike thats a very good idea. On this serk my better half complans or ( bitches ) when I leave the grab strap off of the bike. So when I want to take the tour pack off I remove one of the saddle bags take a 1\2 wrench remove on of the bolts  on the grab strap, the seat then the tour pack , not to handy.  I like the smaller connector on the saddle bages but the H D dealer parts man cant seem to come up with the part # for them. Thanks don

I installed the tour pack spolier . Don't like the idea of removing the seat every time when I remove the tour pack spolier connection, to remove the tour pack. I got an idea of cutting and resplicing the connectors closer to the saddle bag spolier connection. Any better way? Thanks

This pic shows the connector which is actually down beside the saddlebag.  In the last pic you can see that the connector isn't really even in line of sight.  You really don't notice unless you're standing just about on top of the saddlebag and looking down.  At the end I tied off the harness (leaving a little slack for the connector) at the air shock bracket.

Done this way you can get to the connector without removing the saddlebags so the tour pak stays "detachable" without having to remove anything else.

Hey Mike   The trailer conector is what I used for years on the 1974 shovel, and it's still there and still does the job. What could be better? With the modren teck world we live and share with one and another, I'll go with the the twolanerider on this project. It looks like it belongs there, nice job. Thanks for the tips.         don

Used a Deutch connecter for all 5 wires to the tour pac.
