2009 CVO Softtail
« on: December 24, 2007, 02:44:52 AM »

What do you think the chances the MoCo will bring out a CVO FXSTC in 2009. With the Duece and now the Springer most likely retiring next year (sadly) I hope the FXSTC will come out with an extended (6") raked inverted , trick tank, rear wheel and exhaust. The FXSTC is clearly not catching on as it's earlier brother did, but I would like to see something like I described come forward in 2009.

What do you fellas think? :)

I'm still hoping for the SE Servicar.

With HD partnering with Leman trikes anything is possible, not very likely.

Highrider,

Why do you think the Springer will be retired?  It could be so, but the Springer is so much a part of Harley's history, I would think they'd keep it. Maybe you've heard something I haven't?  Thanks

If it's not true, it's a persistant rumor, 'cause I've heard that too.  spyder

Good Morning and Merry Xmas to everybody. I have no inside knowledge about whether the springer stays or not. but I have heard rumors that it would go "away" for a few years. I guess somewhat like the FXSTC did. I own a 04 FXSTSI and thoroughly enjoy it.

Time will tell which way the MoCo goes with Springer, but I would think like the Duece a 2 year CVO Springer seems to be ending after 08.

I intend to get either a FXDSE or wait to see what comes out for 09,

Just my 02 worth

With the new introduction of the Crossbones model, it appears the Springer is soldiering on.
