fender hits lowers

has there been any more ideas for fixing the problem where the front fender catches the right hand lower .the dealer has tryed resetting the fender and lowers but they still touch on full lock and front brake is applied

Have been trying to get mine fixed since Oct and am still waiting for a solution.  Mine hits both lowers since I had the front fender replaced.  They have tried race tech springs brackets that move the lowers back all to no avail.  Will post if they find an answer.

Check out this thread.  The problem was discussed there some time back.

Am pretty sure it's discussed in the thread but you might think about going to the heavier SE fork oil.  My bike's nose had a case of the dives when I first got it home and the heavier oil firmed it up nicely.

Mine was resolved with the SE oil.  At the same time, I moved the lowers to their furthermost point outboard.  No problems and a much better front end ride.

yes there is  - there is available thru HD a 1/4 longer lower fairing ruberized clamp - pulls the lowers bottom 1/4 back - no part# - if any problems pm me - the ones you get at the auto shop are not the same type - found this out thru the warranty rep at our dealership when I got my yellow a few weeks back
