I thought I read somewhere that the LED's were red on the 07 SERK flush mount fuel gauge. Is that true? I bought one for my 08 and it is blue, there isn't a listing for different colors and with the bigger tank on the 08's the 07 wouldn't work. I am just wondering.

Red...I think, I don't look at gauges much

Definitely red on the 07 but there is suppose to be a way (according to the dealer) to change the color if you want to.
Changing mine from red to blue.

Yep definitely red. Mine are staying the same cos I don't mind em like that.

my FLHRSE3 came with red, changed for warranty it was blue, blue goes better with my paint.

my flush mount gascap fell apart and while reassembling i noticed a made in germany imprint.
the 08's don't have this cause the china engineers are stumped.

Even if it was actually made in China it would still say "made in Germany" on it - they copy everything including flaws.

Mine's red but I thought they were ccolour coded i.e. blue with a blue bike and then I realised for the black the MoCo would save on the bulbs as they did the frame....

I posted this earlier about the catalog parts for '08 are in fact blue and the stock as equipped from the factory flush mounts for '07 were red.

I offered if someone wanted to trade their red popout gauge for a blue one, I'd do that. 

If they can be turned from blue to red, that's a better option.  Does someone know this for a fact, and how does it get done?

Original flush mount gas cap on my 07 SERK was red. It came apart also but when exchanged under warranty new one was also red.

the only way to change the red LED's to blue would be to remove the red LED's and solder new blue LED's to the board.

My '07 came with Red. I wanted Blue to match my new speedo. Dealer changed it to the Blue under warranty, as he agreed that the B/I ones should be Blue anyway!
