I for one did not buy to resell it- I am stingy and am keeping it. I will add another one or two (or three or four or...) in the years to come. In my little mind, motorcycles are great, owning a CVO-PRICELESS!

I lucked out and sold my 03 Pseudo SE Road Glide for $23,000 which then allowed me to buy a low mileage (3400 mile) 2004 Blue/Black SEEG with over $50,000 total investment?? for a $1,000 more.

Would I have or could I have afforded a new CVO Ultra? No way. Selling my bike and buying the 04 SEEG in a depressed market allowed me to purchase the 04 SEEG, which I will probably keep for a long time as I never considered any newer HD an investment.

I have never bought any vehicle as an investment.  Any vehicles that would be investments, like the gull-wing Mercedes, I couldn't afford, nor would I want, because I like to drive my vehicles.   I'm like SBB.  I get my HDs as an investment in enjoyment.
