I have a spreadsheet, but I stopped when it got to 48K, and I've done all the labor myself.   :o :o

The motor has not been touched internally, so more will be spent, but at a much later date.

How did you detach the Tour Pak on an Ultra?
Did the dealer do it? What did it cost?
What, if anything, did you lose?

The total cost of hardware for Tour-Pak removal was around $550 and I did all the labor myself, probably around 5 hours not having done one before. This does dnot include what to do with the audio amp if you have one mounted under Tour-Pak, I have talked to guys who have just eliminated it and others who like me have gone to digital amps under the fairing.

Thanks for the fast reply. If I may, one more question...
What about the rear speakers?

The rear speakers get hooked up when I put the Tour-Pak, there is a connector for each pod. i also upgraded to the hawg wired speakers in the back. good luck with your project. The only good thing about a long winter is that you have plenty of time to do upgrades and not feel bad about not riding.

You know when I sold my last bike and it came to pickup day and I brought out every last piece of oem parts that came off the bike for the guy he said to me " what am I supposed to do with these ?" I said "I dont know but they are your's"  I dont know why I keep half of what I have. If anyone wants some parts let me know.

And looking back, alot of us bought our first CVO because "it had everything". Hope I am not the only one that thought that :nixweiss: cause then Id feel even dumberer than I already is. I always think I have alot of hours into this bike until I read Chiefs posts though.

I had a corbin for my last ride and I thought it was the hardest ride I ever had. Still looking around for a good seat. Any recomendations?
Custom Danny Gray Bigseat with removable pillion. If you get up my way your welcome to saddle it. By the way great job. I was surprised HD-Dude didnt talk you into speakers in the lowers. :2vrolijk_21:

That might be redundant! But at least the shirts would be chrome and we probably would have found out about then on this site.
