don't like superlong cams in a bagger...se251 and se10.5 pistons work well together...but if you're dead set on the se260, you could use 10.5 pistons, mill heads around .020, mock up and check valve to piston clearance, mill pistons if necessary, use .030 head gasket...tuning will have to be thorough with this setup

no ploblems with mine yet. the guy who does the work for me said he never heard of the cylinder problem, but he did have some of the head gasket leaks and knows how to fix the problem

This response seems worrisome.  "Knowing" how to fix the head gasket leak without being aware of the cylinder issue is a contradiction to the many who have seen the gasket leak in fact caused by the cylinder problem.  Might be worth having another more pointed discussion with the builder.
