True, true. Seems Maudie's been apart a couple of times though.

Mine is in the shop this week for the same.  Tensioner were worn, but I caught it in time.  Oil pump was also worn like the previous photo.  I opt'd for a new oil pump, new tensioners, and new inner cam bearings.   I think I will plan for the Andrews Cam Conversion kit in the future.  Has anyone done that conversion?

We got back from Wichita about 9:00pm last night. Got most everything done, but ran into a problem, a couple of them. First, when going in with the Screamin Eagle adjustable push rods (POS), machining on one of the intake push rods wasn't up to par and it wouldn't tighten down, of course we took the stock pushrods out with bolt cutters. Luckly, Drew had a set of stock pushrods out of another bike and pulled the tank and rocker boxes and installed them. #2, the bike has been sitting for a month, he goes to start it and the battery is hammer dead and no charger at the house, it's 4:00pm Sunday, we load her up and come on home and it hasn't been started yet. Will get the bettery charged, checked and replaced if need be today, so the jury is still out, but will be in this afternoon.
As for the condition of the parts, I'll post pics. The inside tensioner was is much better shape than the outer. Slight scoring on the oil pump and most of the tensoiner pieces were laying in there and didn't get sucked up into oil tank and lines, so that's a good thing! :2vrolijk_21:

I don't know if this pic will be good enough the scoring on the oil pump.
