Nice bright sunny day here today and the pipes needed some work with the simichrome (which as always worked it's magic) S'anyway, in cleaning and polishing the Bassani's we were able to see inside them very well and I understand the design. Seems very simplistic at first, but reading their website, there are variety of factors involved. Anti-reversion cone inside the pipe. Pipe diameter is tied to engine displacement, to name two. So I think this will be a story with a very happy ending. The engine builder says next weekend for the break-in and dyno once we've got the miles on it. I will post seat of pants feel after we get several hundred miles on it and then the dyno chart when that is finished.

Speaking about an "odd exhaust set up". I am currently in the process of mating up a V&H Pro Pipe Header with a White Brothers E Series 2:1 Muffler Can c/w the disc set up. As bike is in Phoenix. I will not know the results until last week April first week in May we I drive up to Sedona. If I do not like this set up for performance or sound will try the D&D Fatcat.

Presently has the Hooker Header Tuned Flow True Dual set up which I will sell to any one who is looking for one, its in excellent shape.
