Harry,

Sorry to hear about your problems - sometimes it seems like these 07's are just jinxed!

I don't think that I ever heard that lifters are maint items either - maybe I'll replace mine at 50k!

Keep us informed on the rebuild.

Nixobilly,

Mark they said the bike would be back together today, so I should have something to report next week about how the 07 is running.

Hubbard,

Oh, my!  Cams will be ground, Throws must be filed, piston skirts will be trimmed, Cases will be punched, compression from Hell, Throttle Bodies akin to Mae Wests' Breasts, and geared from Satan himself.  It's not nice to mess with Mother Hubbard!  I ain't playin'!  There will be weeping and knashing of teeth.  It's only money, Harry, and both of us know it was made to spend.  If I live, I will bust your a$$ bad, and that's a natural fact.  ;) There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD

You will survive and be up and riding in the semi near future, that I have no doubt about.    We will have to wait and see what the outcome is next time, your unfullfilled past lessons of busting my a$$ leave me quite optomistic although I feel really bad about SPANKING ole Maudie's A$$.  :huepfenlol2:   Remember I told you it wasn't going to cost you a little bit it was going to cost you a WHOLE lot of money.   There endeth the lesson!!

Harry, so happy to see you having fun over beating our good friend Carl Hubbard on his infamous Maudie.  Since your 07 is giving you problems, it must be the 05 cherry bomb keeping your humour up, right?
