I change oil every spring, every fall and every 3500 miles in between...

Me too. I have used Royal Purple gear lube in 4X4 diff's, it works great, but I've had people tell me that there oil has additives that aren't the best for you motor. I don't know that for a fact, but heard it from several people. There's plenty of threads about oil on this site. You can just do a search on, oil, Redline, Amsoil, and you'll find a lot of comments about oil. There's not much difference between the Mobil 1 V-Twin and the regular Mobil 1, so you could use either, and you can mix, just a little more phosphors in the V-Twin bottle, that isn't allowed in the car oil.
