Aerosmith Concert Canceled
« on: March 11, 2008, 06:34:51 PM »

I saw a note in the Milwaukee Journal that Aerosmith canceled their concert for the 105th.  Given ticket sales are supposed to be starting 3/12/2008 I thought I'd pass the info along.   Just got my Hog Tales today and it still shows Aerosmith performing.

Confirmed!   :(

My dealer called me last night to let me know they had received a letter from the MoCo confirming the cancellation.  Supposedly its for medical reasons and Aerosmith is not going to perform any concerts this year.  I couldn't find anything on what medical condition.

Kid Rock, who was scheduled to open for Aerosmith is still playing, but will now be part of the free entertainment so there is no need to buy any tickets for the HOG events.  They're all free to members.

Ride Safe,

Is he bringing Pam with him?  That's worth the price of admission right there.  :2vrolijk_21:

Speaking of the Elton John fiasco (you'd think the learned thier lesson)...
Just heard the story from our HOG regional rep about the first HOG rally. It was held at the MGM in Vegas. They didn't have enough money to rent out the whole hall. Well as the story goes, no one ever asked who rented the other half. As it turns out it was the Gay Rodeo Association. HOG was asked to never return.
