Depending on the light conditions, it really isn't Longhorn Red, or Nemo Orange, It's sort of ....canyon copper

Totally agree. That's why I love this color. You can walk around the bike and see so many changes in color. It is too cool for pictures. I guess it was more of the paint scheme with the fairing looking like horns rather then the color.

Hey, just got the April issue of American Motorcycle Assoc. magazine.
On the front cover is the FLHTCUSE3 in Canyon Copper and Stardust Silver. Camera shot is of the front of the bike and yes it is a "Long Horn".

I got my bike because the guy who had the reserve on it refused to take it when he saw it and thought the color
was that of the U Texas Longhorns "Burnt Orange and White" . Too bad for him because he only saw it under florescent lights.
I've assumed some people want to call it a Longhorn because of the colors. No offense but I'd rather not name my bike
after any team from Texas. Now the front view does resemble a longhorn steer, and I have no issues with the cows from Texas.
Still would prefer Screamin' Nemo over longhorn, tho.

Hey, I'm with you...especially since I am from Oklahoma and the Texas Longhorns are our arch rivals.

When I thought 'Longhorn' I wasn't really thinking UT. Hell, I'm a Wolverine. I was thinking more that the paint pattern looked like horns. Personally I really don't care what we call it, but it just didn't seem right that virtually all the other SE paint schemes through the years had a nickname and this one didn't.

I'll reset the poll, narrow the choices down to Longhorn and Screamin' Nemo and see what we get.

It looks like the group has tried to keep the names as simple (KISS) and as near to a one syllable word as possible.
It's not alma mater thing and if you name it Screamin Nemo then it will morf into just Nemo.
