:nixweiss:  Please note: I unplugged the stator(plug near frame under right hand
side). Drove other 10 miles and the problem with radio gone away. So I assume the problem was the stator........ And on the other hand, the original radio was sent in,
received at replacement. The problem was still there. 2 radio's same issue, new stator,
no problems. I don't know why they replaced the radio 3rd time...

Piggs....

Silver-Black, thanks for the url for Radio Sound - I actually had an email conversation in the fall.  I just got lazy with the cooler weather and it hasn't acted up at all.  Thanks Piggs... exploring the stator as a possible problem is worth exploring first...

Thanks again guys,

Does any know how to marry 2007 radio to a 2000 Road Glide

:cucumber:

It's very simple - I've been running the Harmon radio since it came out.  The dealer needs to hook the Harmon radio to a 2006 or later bike and flash the radio software telling it is for a Road Glide.

Then you simply plug it into your SERG.  The only harness that's an issue is if you want to retro to an Ultra.

In the electrical manual you can find the instructions for how to adjust the AVC feature using the radio buttons.
