Just had lunch with Sawyerghost. We were talking about the same things. It is not as cold here but the flooding has left its mark. We have a family of five staying with us until they get their house heat and water back in service. We sure enjoyed out Daytona trip. :(

How are you feeling?

Montezuma has finally left completely.  The nausea with him.  Those make for improvement.  Now it's just the cough, nose, stuffed up head and blahs all over.  I'm grumpy too.  At least that I can take out on people :2vrolijk_21: .

I think another two or three days and it will have mostly cleared.  This Tamaflu stuff might be worth something after all.  Or else it was just a quickie version to begin with (who knows) :nixweiss: .

Don...the stuff really does work, IF you start it no later than 24-36 hours into the virus.(sooner is better).  It is also good as a preventative if you know you've been exposed.  Supposed to keep the virus from multiplying, though it doesn't kill what's already there.

Hope you are feeling better quickly, buddy!

I was pushing that time boundary or perhaps beyond it.  Whether not a long lived buy or the meds it does seem to be letting up.  24-36 hour stretch that was lived within very close proximity to the restroom nearly continuously.  Now that that's over anything is an improvement.  Just no one post any pictures of food for a day or two.... :-X

Me too.  I can raise grumpy to an art form without flu-based incentive.  Get me like this and even old crusty DI's give a wide berth.
