Has anyone had transmission problems with '07 FLHTCUSE2 Black Ice/Orange?   After 700 miles, mine is being replaced by Harley, wondering if anyone else has had the same problem

There should be no new issues as it is the same gear set as made by Jims and offered over the past few years as the Screamin' Chicken 6-Speed upgrade...

Not sure exactly what your tranny problem was but with only 700 miles I would call it a manufacturers defect. Not much stress can occur in that short of a period of time. JMHO

Mine is still sitting at the Dealer awaiting a new Clutch Pak because the starter ate the Ring Gear.
Been there almost 2 weeks now, Oh what fun.

If you've only got 700 miles on it and the dealer is taking care of it then I would file it away as a defect and the new one shouldn't have it. I've got over 10,000 miles on mine and while I'm not happy with the ratios they built into it, the tranny has not given me any problems.

I'd just get the new tranny and don't worry about this one. You just got a bad apple the first time around.
