« on: April 02, 2008, 02:08:57 PM »

Hey you guys has anyone seen/rode/bought the new "Cross Bones".  I was always a sucker for the old retro style of harley.  My first was the Heritage Springer (As seen)

My wife, who works at the H-D dealer in New Orleans, has 2 FLSTSB's in stock. 1 is Pewter Denim & the other is Black Denim, these colors are the non-shiny paint. She is 5' 4" and the bike sits a little high for her liking, but customers who have bought them have given positive feedback. They like the old-school look and say the ride is comfortable. MSRP Starting at $16,795.
NOLA H-D has a hard time keeping them in stock.

Here's a link to the H-D website Cross Bones listing:

Hey Smiler - they have one in Just Harleys in Newcastle - sure is retro.

Could be a blank canvas also of course.

I also like the retro look and am looking forward to one of my local fellow riders purchasing one so I can take a test ride. Trying to convince the wife that 3-4 Harleys, a Norton and a Triumph would be a good thing... :bananarock:

Quite the opposite, just a working man with a low budget and high dreams. I am extremely lucky to have the bike I have now, but I do love to daydream of having a collection. Wifey all ready said "you love that bike more than you love me"...to which I replied like any good experienced parent would do-"I love you both equally!" Perhaps that is why I slept in the shed next to the chainsaw and lawn mower last night? :huepfenlol2:

hmmmmm looking at the spelling above, I'm wondering if this is a special model for Hobbits Sounds like Gollum talking

Anyway, lots of folks on this site have multiple bikes. Howie the Hoist says we're not allowed to have more than one bagger

This site being Hoist MC and all, gotta follow the rules you know
