Jorge gave me one of these load equalizers about a year ago for another problem that has since been replaced. It's been floating around in the TP ever since so I could return it to him. The plug does not look like a normal HD plug but I'll see if there is a diagram on it to hard wire it in & see if that resolves the problem.

AJ, these things can be bought new cheaply enough that it's not worth hacking in to the rear harness to try it out.  It's worth a few bucks not to cut up a primary harness.

I just saw the one on Kuryakyan's page. For $70 it's plug & play. I just won't have it for York. (& I can live with that)

Good reminder Jerry.  That's always a question to ask.  The alarm systems have been out so long you'd think compatibility would be the norm by now.  But it's not always.
