Side Mount Plate
« on: June 08, 2008, 05:06:14 PM »

I just picked up my 08 FXSTSSE2 yesterday and am enjoying it very much. I want to make a few changes starting with a side mount plate in the vertical position. I seem to be having trouble finding one for my bike. Does anyone out there have one and can let me know where you got it? Thanks for the help.

I put the Kuryakyn (is that how it is spelled?) curved side mount on mine.  I bought the one without the taillight. About $130.00.   It mounts easily to the swingarm and even has a wire to run a light on the tag.  Very simple install.  I can get a pic if you like

Hey Skippy,

I think I am going solo with my Springer.  What kind of bracket for your tag?  I like the looks better than my setup.
