Well Im having the 7B's installed and my mech says there was no liner movement on the cylinders. He did state that where the oil leaked it burned the paint on my cylinders so under warreny they are going to replace both cylinders. I am not sure about that call but I am just going along with the ride. :nixweiss:
Have the new cylinders checked, my dealer has sentb out everyone to be done .010 over because they were so badly out of spec and tight in the bottom.

That sounds more realistic to me, most of the time when a liner starts to move it doesnt stop and there is a knock that goes with it. I havent seen a cylinder that has had movement yet, but would like too or atleast a top and bottom pic of it.

On mine the amount of movement was so small you could drag a fingernail across & feel it, but not see it.  No pic would work on mine unless a hi mag camera was available. New cylinders were completely flush.

Was there a edge you could feel on the bottom of the cyl where it seats to the crankcase?

Only felt it at the top.  Did not appear to be on the bottom.  Should have tried to measure it I suppose, but a "fingernail width" was the amount on the back one.  The front was much less movement, barely perceptible - a very slight edge.
