Dual bulb headlight ?
« on: May 12, 2008, 08:42:51 PM »

MY CVO Ultra has a dual bulb headlight, do the regular non SE ultra's have only one headlight bulb or are they all the same?

Trying to install my Kuryakyn HID Headlight and the wirings not matching up to the instructions.

May have to cut and splice  :pineapple:

the se dual bulb headlight is either the HID unit already OR the standard dual bulb - NO standard wiring diagram - all special, already - if its hid its already wired clear back to the battery. if its not hid - all you have to change is the low beam bulb and add the transformer and wire - if it is already hid........

so... you are possibly replacing a 500 bux hid upgrade unit for why? :-\

if you are replacing the factory hid unit with a aftermarket hid unit - ill take all the leftovers!!!!!!  :pepper:

The factory single and Dual bulb headlights that are on our bikes are not HID they are just halogen.

Harley does offer a hid headlight in the accessories catalog but it is just a low beam HID, high beam is still a halogen bulb, and it lists for about 550

Kuryakyn HID light is made by Xsighting lighting, www.xesighting.com Kuryakyn just makes the new trim ring and brackets to fit our bikes, and I found it for 380. The light only has one HID bulb but the reflector in front of the bulb moves when high beam is turned on for more light.

My eyesight is not what it used to be at night and I need all the help I can get  :(

Let you know how it works when I'm done with the wiring.
