Most impressive is the 40% price difference for the six bikes between the two dealers mentioned. How can this come about, when we are told "the dealer almost makes no money on the bike"?????

Ride safely,

I may be wrong, but don't the police bikes now come standard with the 103 engine?  I've seen some new police road kings at the dealership and they all had factory 103's on them, why would they want to go to the 110?  I could possibly see it if they had the 96's installed, but not the 103's.   :nixweiss:

Thanks Gary...that "upgrade" makes no sense to me then, not for over $4K for each bike.

There is one exception to the LEO bike's that is not a 103ci. They have a LEO Sportster 883 also (see here).

That's only for "small" departments though.   :huepfenlol2:  There are a bunch of those LEO Sporties running around DC on the Capitol Police Force.
