2007 CUSE Harmon Kardon Aux Plug In
« on: July 07, 2008, 09:27:14 PM »

I am connecting my Zumo to my HK radio via the Aux jack for my mp3 player, my question is ,, Is there an Aux jack on the back of the radio, I thought that some where on the forum I read that, but I am not able to find it doing a search.
I thought that if that is true it would make a cleaner install, I am waiting for my Tech Mount Bracket to arrive and then will hook it up. Thanks for the help!!

Thanks for the FAST reply!! Looks like this part of install may have to be a Winter project, I will have to get over having the Aux cable showing on the front of the radio for the season, Again,, Thank you

Get these two items and you can have the best of everything without chopping up your radio.

I've used this for a year on my bike. Works perfect, nothing shows, and it's one of the few things I've done that did not void a warranty!  ;)

That is an interesting solution coyotedata!

I wonder if this solution also suffers from the lower volume issues that we experience when we bring devices in on AUX.

(PS I have adjusted all my devices to output the max on connection to AUX).

Have you tested the volume level of aux in vs fm splitter?
