Helmet Headset Question
« on: June 08, 2008, 10:59:42 PM »

I am using the helmet headset that came with my '06 SE Ultra and the right speaker crackles as certain frequencies.  Instead replacing the entire headset does anyone know if you can purchase some aftermarket speakers, cut the wire to the current speakers and splice in the new ones?  If so, can you recommend a source for the replacement speakers?  Thanks.

Have you tried J&M Corp?

I had some Baehr speakers laying around and I spliced them in. What an incredible difference.
I don't think you could go wrong replacing them with just about anything on the market !!

Does anyone know if I could buy helmet speakers like the ones shown in the link below, cut the wires and splice them into the HD headset?
