The SERG was a hot commodity back then. You were one lucky SOB if you purchased a 01 SERG for close to list price back in 2001. My original invoice has $27,845.00 for a selling price. Freight and set-up was 600.00, Administrative Fee $ 50.00. For a Grand Total of $28,495.00 from Seacoast Harley in N. Hampton, NH. Back in 2001 Harley was running strong and the dealerships/ Sales people had a real bad attitude towards customers.

The regular bikes were running $3K over list. The showroom was bare some years before the riding season even started and if you tried to purchase a bike in a border state they would tell you to screw.

That was for a really complete bike. Later CVO baggers cost more but without tourpacks and detachable hardware... and other stuff.
