    • CVO1: 2010 FLTRX - Paul Yaffe

I converted the lowers in the front (option 2) & routed the power from the head unit to the rears -- it sounds incredible.  Worth every penny, and anybody that hears the stereo can not believe it's coming from a bike. :carrot: :orange:

Here’s the bad news first; your Screaming Eagle edition Ultra comes with the OEM Tour-Pak amplifier. This makes removing your Tour-Pak and speakers difficult at best, and if not done properly can disable your audio system until you put everything back. If you want to be able to quickly remove the Tour-Pak, the first thing to do is remove the amp and it’s harness from the bike entirely.

Now the good news; With our amplifier running your speakers, you can disconnect them from the amp at any time without losing the fronts, or harming anything in any way. This makes our amplifier system the perfect choice for quick-disconnect Tour-Paks. Here’s the system we recommend for your ’08 FLHTCUSE3:

PSC 4CH Amplifier Driving 4 Stock Speaker Locations
1 x PSC3004 PSC Series 300W (4x75) Amplifier - $999.95
1 x CX504-70 CX Series 4 Ohm Component Speakers - $229.95 (front fairing)
1 x BT504-50 BT Series 4 Ohm Performance Speakers - $109.95 (rear pods)

Another way to go would be doing 4 speakers up front, converting your lower glove boxes into speaker enclosures. With this setup, you’d leave your Tour-Pak speakers stock and connected to your radio like a stock Ultra:

PSC 4CH Amplifier Driving 4 Front Speakers
1 x PSC3004 PSC Series 300W (4x75) Amplifier - $999.95
2 x CX504-70 CX Series 4 Ohm Component Speakers - $229.95 each pair, $459.90 total (upper and lower front)
1 x GBV525 Lower Fairing Speaker Adapters (Vented) - $169.95

And last but not least, there’s the 2 channel upgrades as well. Again, both of these options assume you’re removing your Tour-Pak amplifier, and connecting your rear speakers back to the radio like a stock Ultra:

DCS 2CH Amplifier Driving 2 Speakers
1 x DCS1202 DCS Series 120W (2x60) Amplifier - $495.95
1 x SX504-60 SX Series 4 Ohm Component Speakers - $179.95 (front fairing)
- Or -
PSC 2CH Amplifier Driving 2 Speakers
1 x PSC1502 PSC Series 150W (2x75) Amplifier - $595.95
1 x CX504-70 CX Series 4 Ohm Component Speakers - $229.95 (front fairing)

The choice is yours. Hope this helps, just say the word if you have any questions, and thanks for your interest in Hawg Wired.

Mike,
Any update on the 2 ohm rear speakers? Waiting for those so I can finally upgrade. Thanks, Dave

Jim is the MAN! I plan to buy the speakers from him as soon as they are available. Was told by Hawg Wired that they were working on the rears and were about 6 weeks away, that was 8 weeks ago. Just hate the blown stocks and have a trip planned next weekend. I need my tunes!  Dave

Dave;
Still working on getting them completed, Also other mods for the rear speakers as the BT series speakers have been reported to have some fitment issues in the 08's. HD has slightly changed the mold on the pods for the 08's but not given them a new part number :confused5:

PS; Are you going to come see us on the 19th for the anniversary party?

I just finished a 4 channel install and rear speakers were a bit testy, woung up putting a couple of washers between the speaker and pod to kick it out we now have clearance, Clarence!
All in all AWESOME tunes, install fairly simple.
Thanks Jim for your help.

Glad you got it done and are happy with the results :) As i mentioned above some of the 08's are having a depth issue on the rear pods. HW is aware of this and working on a permanant solution.

The speakers had interference in my pods, used a heat gun to soften up the pod and now I don't have interference, and you can't really see were I pushed it out without point it out
