Brian,
You may want to hunt up somebody in your area who is a sidehack guru. As I recall, there are issues with the front end when you add a sidehack. I had a couple buds in Maine who had them. One on an old pan and another or a late 70's shovel. When the two of them got together they'd speak a language I didn't understand about steering dampers etc.

HD has a service manual for the side cars, about 1/2" thick and pretty detailed. I have one for a 99 model, I can copy some pages for you if there is something specific you need. I can tell you that they are a b*tch to get properly aligned.......

Probably need to just buy the book. Going to look at one on Sunday in Florida.

Thinking it might be better for Jade to ride in a sidecar than a trailer.

And don't forget for some states like RI where the rider doesn't need a helmet but his passenger does...

Or get a bushtec with two lids...on the second add a removable "Bubble" to the lid so the pup gets his own Popemobile!

Molly, being a little girl, has to make a fashion statement in her doggels........

Surprisingly, she doesn't mind the doggels or the bike at all.

We thought about a side car too, but opted for the Wags Pet Trailer. Our dog, Ruthie has logged about 4000 miles in the last 4 months. When we get caught in the rain, hail, snow...she's snug inside watching the weather out the windows.  When it's hot we have a mini "cool-air system" that keeps the temp down on the warmer days. Also we have a remote temp guage so we can check the inside trailer temperature while riding to make sure she doesn't get too hot......nooooooooo....she's not spoiled though!! :huepfenjump3:
