oil leak in 2003 ultra classic

Is it normal to see a small oil film on the front cylinder.  My bike has 20,000 miles and ZI have noticed and old burnt oil smell and saw a small trace of on on the front cylinder.

Sounds like it's possibly a blown head gasket.

Sorry to see your first post is because of a problem.  And no, its not normal to see oil on the front cylinder.  It is always preferable to have all the oil on the inside...

If you can take a picture of the oil spot some one here will have a good idea what's up. Also welcome to the site.

Re: the possible oil leak, It may not be, Check under the air cleaned and see if it might be coming from the breather, I had to put a small plastic line down under the bike to keep the couple of drops from making a big mess, Check it out.
