I've got a 9 year old son that is dying to put a motor on his bike.  We've looked at conversion kits for these on eBay and other places.  Pretty cool -- the same type of motors they're using on the cheapie quads and dirt bikes, but made to mount to a bicycle.

A reliable dresser is the 04 or 05 Screamin Eagle Electra Glide.  Ask anybody who owns one. :2vrolijk_21:

You may be right, but which would you want to ride on a 1,200 mile journey?

Both of my 04 SEEG's were extremely reliable - as long as I changed the cam chain tensioners at regular intervals...  ;)

I take exception to that my dresser is always ready for a trip , Well except for when it's broke :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Doing good Jeorge.....thanks for asking.  Flew up to Portland a couple of weeks ago, took three days to drive home.....along the Oregon and Calif. coast.  Went back to work on Thurs......two days and I was worn out! :o  In a few minutes we're going to drive up to Reno and will return late tonight.  Then we've got tickets for a blues festival all day tomorrow.  So pretty much back to the old schedule of go...go...go. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm telling you guys, a broken hip or pelvis isn't anything like a broken arm or leg......the pain is pretty much constant, even at night and it takes twice as long to heal.  Damn I hate gettin old. :(

Change em once......to gear drive and be done with it.  My 04 SEEG has been from the Atlantic ocean to the Pacific and from Canada to Mexico and pretty much all over the west.......the cam chain tensioners were the only thing that kept me from riding home.  Once I got the gear drive cams I'm good to go.....

I changed the chain tensioners once on my first 04 Orange/Black SEEG and installed gear drive cams on my second Orange/Black SEEG.... ;)
