C.B install
« on: June 04, 2005, 01:01:53 AM »

I just installed J&M 2003 handle bar mount CB on 05seeg . I bought the optional comm interface and had J&M install the headset into my Nolan helmet . I purchased the equipment thru Sierra Electronics out of Ohio better prices than J&M.

The system is clean without any engine noise. I can talk on cb,cell phone and listen to tunes. Has connections for passenger intercom ,passenger push to talk for cb, radar, gps,xm etc.

On the highway people can not tell I am riding the bike when on cell phone.

The sound fidelity for comm is excellent but a little lacking for tunes.

Need to find a 1kw 12v. sub woofer ( just kidding).

Probably a little pricey but if unit has any durability it may be worth it.

Going to Americade this week. Will have to look for a nice cell phone mount. That ugly black on /off switch is for processing a call on the cell phone maybe I can find a chrome one.
