I found this, but it only goes up to 2004: http://cost.jsc.nasa.gov/inflateCPI.html

$275.00 in 1915 would be $5,143.33 in 2004.  Maybe add another 2% a year to get it to a 2008 level and you're still only at $5,567.30. :shocked2:
