kuryakyn HID trim ring

I noticed that Kuryakyn has a HID headlight kit http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3500.  I saw the write up in one of the biker magazines.  I like the trim ring that they use.  Does anyone know if you can buy the trim ring separate or does someone else make it?  Thanks all!

It's a bit difficult to see, but when you look at the "View On Bike" picture it seems that the trim ring is stock. Or am I missing something?

The Hot Bike had a article in 2/07 issue.  Here is a better photo of the trim ring http://www.hotbikeweb.com/newsletter/0612_hbkp_newsletter_04/photo_01.html, couldnt find the article online that showed the trim ring installed on an FLHT.  Thanks

I'll scan the article when I get home and post, the trim ring sticks out .5" or so. It doesnt sit back like the stock.

if i remeber correctly the kury HID kit does push the housing out farther by means of a thicker ring

The big Kahuna is correct as the ring is thicker to fit over the HID ring.  Don't know if Kuryakyn sells seperate.

Looks that way to me, too.  It looks like this extension is an extension to the light housing and then it has a stock trim ring over the end of that.
