I can understand what kids do to you.  Rode all through high school and college.  Got a job and was going home for lunch and went around a corner, hit some sand and the front tire slid----didn't go down, but scared me just the same.  We had just had twin girls, I went home for lunch, decided that I had responsibilities and put the bike in the shed.  Didn't ride it for 17 yrs. Still had it. Then one day started it and rode it and decided I still loved riding.  It's all been history since then. Twins are now 34 and one is expecting twin girls in two weeks.  So give it some time and you'll be back in the saddle when you're not needed so much.
