Torque Wrench and Tools

Gonna buy a torque wrench here soon; just wondering if anyone has any reccomendations/opinions on Mfgr, Make, Model, Style, Size, Accessories, etc, Sockets,etc, etc,? Getting things together to do a little work on the 4 this winter. ANY info from ya'll appreaciated  :2vrolijk_21:

Other than you get what you pay for, the choice would be yours.
I have different brands n sizes...a 3/8's otter do most of the work 1/4 drive is nice too. You'll need a 1/2 drive on occasion too...

I think my newest came from Lowe's home store, a "husky" or somehtin, decent and if you bust it up, you bring it back.

This is semi-weird.  It's almost gotten to the point that there is not a topic that can come from minds of man that we have not talked about here.  It's a little freaky actually :-X .

I remembered it because I wrote in it.  That's all.  But unless your Dood with his magical mystery search skills the content here is just too large anymore to find everything.  Torque wrenches are good though!  Everybody needs some :2vrolijk_21: !

Yep...The Dood is our big brother...He be watchin, scannin, snoopin, lurkin, and when ya least expect it.......WHAM!!!!...the long arm of the law smacks us on back of the head and says, "Ya;ll better starightin your A$$'s up boys....But hey, where we we be without him  ;D  :2vrolijk_21:

If you are still looking for tools try Ebay. You can but Matco, Mac and Snap on for good prices most of the time.

I have a snap-on digital/electronic torque wrench. It is a 3/8 drive and measures inch pounds. Great for small stuff requiring small amounts of torque. I want it plenty tight, but I am a big guy and have broken tons of bolts. The torque wrenchs are a great thing in my opinion. I also have larger torque wrenchs for the big stuff... :2vrolijk_21:

I can recomend snap on as those are the ones I own and use.i have the digital  1/4" and 3/8" and a click type 1/2"
