so I got the baisley spring, and now I have alot of oil pressure. it is probably up around 5 lbs over what it was, although not indicating correctly. at idle it is still not that great when hot, but once I open the throttle it comes right up to over 35 lbs. I think it was probably a combination of indication and there may have been something in the relief valve after one of the head gasket repairs causing it to stick open a little.
