A question for the 06-07 CVO Ultra owners.
« on: September 02, 2008, 09:44:42 PM »

That chrome rack on top of the black leather tourpack, is there a tour bag that fits it?

It looks a lot smaller than the premium rack I am used to, or I should say spoiled with. I have the expandable premium rack bag which I use to store rain gear and heated clothing when on tour. Does anyone know if the expandable premium rack bag will fit that smaller rack?

Thanks

I've got a road ready medium bag and like it a lot.  We even use it for non MC travel because it's lightweight and holds a bunch.

Here's a pic I took of the bike with it on a while ago.

If you want to stay with the leather theme, the Rack Half Sac is made for the CVO with the leather tour pack. I have two of them. For longer trips, I can put one on the rack and one in the passenger seat. Both fit perfect.

I have the same expandable premium rack bag I used on my old Ultra.  You gotta get creative to make it fit.  I loop the front two velco straps through the front of the TP rack, secure the shoulder straps through the rear of the TP rack, then secure the whole thing with three bungy cords.  It gets the job done.

The newer HD bag for the tour pak rack will work on the SE Tour Pak.  The way to tell it's the newer version, is that it has three sets of velcro tabs on it.   That way it works with all the tour pak racks.

I have one of these kury bags that I used on my 06--http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3076

I can offer it to you for $100 + shipping to your Zip, I have a picture of it attached but I can not locate it on my drive at this moment.

Check it out on the Kury web site 4142   //  $149.99

 Tour Trunk Roll Bag (ea)

Pm me if your interested. The bag I have is unused - I have a Bustec trailer and never had the reason to use it - SO why did I buy it? Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it :)

The picture is from the site like posted above it's the same bag.
